At Skiptons monthly show of 917 prime lambs on Monday 5th July, MEC Higgs of Hebden Bridge won the Texel class before going on to win overall champion. The pen of 5 lambs sold through the ring for � per head to Woodend’s Butchers, Adel, Leeds
Reserve Champion and best pen of continental x lambs was awarded to a pen of Charollais x lambs shown by G & MA Lawn, Skipton, through the ring they realised � purchased by Andrew Atkinson, Harrogate.
The best pen of Suffolk x lambs was shown by KM & L Throup, Silsden. The show was judged by Gerald Medcalf of Messrs Medcalf Ltd, Halifax
